That’s where HaloDish comes in.
Our mission is to make Japan more accessible for people with different food cultures, including Muslims, vegans, and vegetarians. We aim to bridge the gap between the current limited options and the needs of those seeking inclusive and diverse food choices.
HaloDish, developed by eftax Co. Ltd., helps users find suitable food choices with ease. Our app allows users to:
- Search for halal, vegan, and vegetarian restaurants, and food stores.
- Instantly check if a product is halal or vegan by scanning food labels
- Shop for halal, vegan, and vegetarian food at our online shop or physical store in Osaka.
In addition to limited food options, access to prayer spaces is another challenge for Muslims in Japan. With few prayer places available, finding one nearby can be difficult. HaloDish makes it easier by helping users locate prayer spaces, ensuring a more comfortable and convenient experience.
We also collaborate with local governments in Japan to enhance towns and cities to better suit people from different backgrounds and cultures, making them more welcoming and accessible for everyone.
