Q. What's HaloDish?
A. HaloDish, developed by eftax, is service connecting Muslims and Japan. It provides useful information and services for inbound Muslims tourists and Muslims residing in Japan. Please visit [About us] page for further details. Please note that our intention is not to propagate any religious beliefs.

Q. What's halal?
A. Halal, meaning 'permissible' in accordance with Islamic law, refers to food that is allowed for consumption by Muslims. General examples include vegetables, fruits, grains, seafood, seaweed, legumes, milk, eggs, and specific methods of slaughtering and processing meat. However, individual interpretations regarding dietary rules may vary among people.

Q. How is the information on halal restaurants featured on HaloDish researched?
A. As of January 2024, all of the listed halal restaurants are investigated by the eftax team, who actually visited the restaurants to obtain permission for displaying store information and photos. However, please note that our company cannot take responsibility for any changes in prices or ingredients used in dishes that may occur without notice or for any inaccuracies in the listings. For more accurate information, we highly recommend users to verify directly with the restaurant.

Q. What service can I use with HaloDish?
A. You can utilize services such as searching for halal restaurants, halal food stores, and prayer spaces, as well as posting reviews and online shopping for halal food products as of February 2024.

User registration

Q. Is user registration required to use HaloDish?
A. Searching for halal restaurants, halal food stores, and prayer spaces is available without the need for user registration. For posting reviews and making purchases on the online shopping site, user registration is required.

Q. I haven't reveived an email after user registration.
A. The following possibilities are considered:

  • The entered email address is incorrect.
  • The received email is being sorted into the spam folder.
  • Domain blocking settings are in place.
  • There may be a receiving error due to the reception capacity limit of your email address (provider). If the issue persists, please contact us via email at [info@halodish.com].

Order

Q. I haven't reveived an email of purchase after completing my order.
A. The following possibilities are considered:

  • The entered email address is incorrect.
  • The received email is being sorted into the spam folder.

Q. What payment methods is acceptable?

Q. I want to change the payment method after completing my order.

We are afraid that changes to the payment method cannot be made after completing the order. If the product has not been shipped yet, cancellation may be possible. Please contact us promptly via email at [info@halodish.com].

Q.I haven't received the product I purchased yet.

Please check if you have received the completion email. Q. I purchased a wrong product. Can I cancel it?

We are afraid that cancellations or returns due to customer convenience is not acceptable after the product has been shipped.
